Stoneware, dustprint, woodfired, natural ash glaze h 5"× 3.5"
The beakers are the thinnest thing that I make. Despite that thinness I have several friends who do use them for coffee, but I always imagined them best for cold refreshments like water or iced tea. These are printed with a mixture of ash and clay. I also inscribed part of the poem "Remember" by Joy Harjo: "Remember the sky you were born under, / know each of the star's stories / Remember the moon… "
